Ann Grier joined Owen Gleaton as Of Counsel in 2020, bringing many years of experience representing and advising clients in a variety of personal and business matters, including estate planning, litigation, contract negotiation, employment law and alternative dispute resolution. She has conducted bench and jury trials in state and federal courts involving commercial contract disputes, employment discrimination, medical malpractice, and product liability cases. An AV-rated lawyer since 1990, Ann formed her own firm in 2012 focused on estate planning and general contract law, which she continues at Owen Gleaton. Ann's clients benefit from her diverse background in litigation and transactional matters. She enjoys assisting individuals and families consider options and determine appropriate ownership structure for their assets, as well as guiding them in preparation for changes in circumstances.
A graduate of the University of Georgia undergraduate and law schools, Ann is an Atlanta native who enjoys international travel. She has lived in Switzerland and Italy and is conversant in Spanish, German, and Italian.
