Selected by the Young Lawyers Division ("YLD") President, Baylie Fry received the Award of Achievement for Outstanding Service to the Profession at the Georgia State Bar Annual Meeting. Ms. Fry was presented this award for her continued dedication and service to the profession in her capacity as the Co-Chair to the YLD Women in the Profession Committee. In 2016, the YLD Women in the Profession Committee celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the first woman licensed to practice law in Georgia by hosting an event which brought in over 100 attendees and numerous sponsors.
Ms. Fry also received the YLD Star of the Quarter Award. Nominated by her peers and ultimately selected by the YLD President, Baylie Fry received the YLD Star of the Quarter Award for her outstanding service to the YLD, the legal profession and the community over the past three months through her efforts as Co-Chair to the YLD Women in the Profession Committee. During those three months, Ms. Fry frequently hosted luncheons featuring distinguished women lawyers, judges and in-house corporate counsel.
